As Chancellor of the University of Haveli and President of the Azad State of Jammu & Kashmir, I am pleased to extend my gratitude to the students, faculty, and stakeholders of this promising institution. The establishment of the University of Haveli marks a significant step toward expanding access to quality higher education and fostering intellectual growth in the underdeveloped region of the State.

The University's vision reflects a forward-looking and inclusive approach. It underscores the vital role that higher education plays not only in individual advancement but also in shaping resilient, enlightened, and progressive societies.

I commend the University leadership for its commitment to providing a supportive academic environment, enriched with modern facilities, state-of-the-art laboratories, and a culture of inquiry and innovation. The availability of diverse scholarship opportunities is particularly encouraging. These initiatives will ensure that deserving students, regardless of their financial circumstances, have the opportunity to pursue and complete their education with dignity and focus.

I offer advice to the students that they must approach their education with discipline, curiosity, and a strong sense of purpose. I also urge the University to strengthen its engagement with communities, industries, and institutions at national and international levels.
