The Department of Computer Science is committed to providing quality education and practical skills in the field of computing and information technology. The department offers a four-year Bachelor of Science in Computer Science (BSCS) program designed to prepare students for professional careers and higher studies in emerging areas of technology.
The BSCS program combines strong theoretical foundations with hands-on experience in programming, software development, artificial intelligence, databases, networking, cybersecurity, and modern computing technologies. Our qualified faculty members, well-equipped laboratories, and student-centred learning environment help students develop analytical, problem-solving, and research skills required in today's digital world.

Admission Criteria
- 1 Applicants must have secured at least 50% marks in Intermediate, DAE with Mathematics, or an equivalent 12 years of education with Mathematics as a subject for admission to the BSCS program.
- 2 Candidates with at least 50% marks in Intermediate Pre-Medical (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or equivalent 12 years of education are also eligible to apply. Such candidates, if admitted, will be required to complete two additional Mathematics courses worth 6 credit hours during the first year of study.
